Would you like to begin a series of life enhancements that lead to a truly happy way of life?

Would you like to begin a series of life enhancements that lead to a truly happy way of life? Research shows that Emotional Intelligence (EQ) is a better predictor of success in life, than IQ. Relationships are what life is all about… this is what matters most. Investing in your emotional well-being or that of your marriage relationship or family is the best investment you can make to ensure “life abundantly”. Don’t just live in survival mode, learn to thrive!

This counseling ministry is designed to meet the emotional needs of individuals, couples, & families in the community.

The goal is to enhance, nurture & help clients to maximize their overall potential to build stronger & healthier foundations. A Biblical perspective is used & will be the foundation from which to address individual & family needs for all who choose it. As a solution-focused therapist, my goal is to help you uncover your true potential and lead a life that is worth celebrating. While we can’t change difficult situations of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges in your life. By applying complementary therapy approaches and techniques, we will unearth long-standing behavior patterns or negative perceptions that may be holding you back from experiencing a more fulfilling and meaningful life.

If you are looking for extra support and guidance through a challenging situation or you are just ready to move in a new direction in your life, I look forward to working with you to achieve your goals.

Please call or email me for an individual (child & adolescent available), couples or family therapy consultation today.

STARTING

Appointments

Your appointment time is a commitment and has been reserved for you. 24 hours notice is required for cancellation, except in the case of an emergency or you will be charged a missed session fee. I’m sorry for any inconvenience this may cause and my sincere hope is that clients understand the importance of keeping their appointments.

Insurance

One reason I am able to keep our fees low is by using my time to work with clients, not insurance companies. You may find that my fee is lower than your coinsurance or deductible. In fact, research has shown that the average counseling relationship lasts 7 sessions! With my rates, you may not even reach your deductible! I hear so many people making mental health choices based on who their insurance will pay rather than who they feel comfortable with. Make sure to research what your financial responsibility really is before making a final decision.

If you have insurance which provides coverage for this treatment, I will be happy to assist you in completing your claim forms if you provide the appropriate form. You are responsible for mailing it to the insurance company and tracking your reimbursement. I do not accept assignment of benefits, nor do I participate in managed care insurance plans (HMOs and PPOs). I will gladly discuss your proposed treatment with your insurance company if they call and you provide a release of information form directing to do so. I do not call to request authorizations. You are responsible for the full fee regardless of your insurance company’s reimbursement policies.

Please note:
If you are seeking marriage counseling, insurance companies typically do not pay for this (even if you find someone on your panel). Most insurance companies require a diagnosis of a mental disorder by one or both participants before marriage counseling will be covered. Regardless of where you go for your marriage counseling, you will most likely be required to pay out of pocket or your therapist will need to diagnose you with a mental disorder, which will stay with you when you go to seek future medical or mental health treatment, possibly even future employment. The average cost of services for LMFT’s (Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists) is $100 per session and as high as $200 per session. She makes every effort to keep overhead costs to a minimum, allowing to charge fees below the average.

Your regular fee will be charged for any additional professional services rendered by your provider at your request, such as phone contacts over five minutes, preparation of special forms, insurance reports, court time, consults with other professionals, etc.

Payment

Cash, check and all major credit cards accepted for payment. Every attempt to keep fees as low as possible by keeping overhead costs to a minimum. I ask clients to help me continue to do this by following my payment guidelines. Fees are due and payable at the time of each session. Credit card payments are accepted in the office at the time of service.
